Together we can help students graduate from high school and gain meaningful work experience and skills to help them enter the workforce.
- Workplace ettiquette training
- Transportation assistance
- All payroll functions including wage and L&I management

All you have to do to start is…
Respond to the Summer Jobs 253 recruitment letter and send your completed employer commitment form to the Reach Center, care of Tacoma Community House. To help make the program a success, employers who are accepted into the program are asked to make a $700 contribution. (Please contact the program for a waiver of this participation fee or multi-student discounts.)
Once you are started we will work with you to make your experience a success. As part of our commitment:
- Direct supervisors will attend one of our one-day trainings.
- Help you start with your new employee on the right foot by:
- Completing a worksite proposal form
- Picking up your student’s bi-weekly time cards
